About National Police Foundation NPF:
The National Police Foundation was established in March 1975 under the Charitable Endowment Act 1890 as a trust for the benefit of police personnel and their families. It is headed by the current service Inspector General of Police.
According to the Administration/Constitution scheme, a Committee of Administration headed by the Home Secretary Division approves the annual budget, oversees the work of the Foundation, and lays down policy guidelines as ex-Chairman. A Board of Directors, headed by the Home Secretary Division as Chairman and Managing Director, oversees the work of the Foundation with NPF as Vice Chairman.
